Community Service Initiatives are student-led projects that take place outside of the students’ course of study. These extra-curricular projects are very meaningful for our students, since they are the ones who plan the projects, map out the organizational structure, and conduct the projects themselves, sometimes locally, sometimes as far away as Hong Kong. Some of these projects are of short duration, such as responding to a disaster. Some of these projects represent ongoing involvement from our students that extends for years, demonstrating a commitment to impact their world that is not just extra-curricular, but extraordinary!
